This two-story brick building is an early 1900’s industrial-inspired masterpiece with modern amenities. The building had to fit in with the feel of the nation’s oldest city but also stand out with an impressive industrial-style exterior. The building’s brick walls, handcrafted woodwork, exposed ceilings and polished concrete floors create a raw but refined atmosphere. Art ‘n Motion was created to display classic and rare vehicles, many of which are available for sale. But the building also features event space large and small.
We had a requirement due to our location to adhere to the St. Augustine Historic Corridor building codes. That made our job more complex from the beginning. We also had a very specific look we wanted to achieve with our building that required a good deal of discussion from the beginning and throughout the process. A.D. Davis had the quality team of skilled and experienced people to handle a complex project. They demonstrated integrity and teamwork through the entire process.
