The exterior of this dream home on the beach was designed with a New England style that is very unique from typical houses in St. Augustine. The octagon shape of the house allows for views of either the Atlantic Ocean or the intercoastal waterway from every room in the house. The interior of the house showcases A.D. Davis’s woodworking talents. Raw material was delivered to A.D. Davis and a team of carpenters refinished the wood to use for wood trim and cabinets throughout the house. The house also features a fireplace made from coquina which is a native stone of St. Augustine that was also used to construct the fort in downtown St. Augustine.
